A financial advisor since 2000, Michael is experienced in the following areas: financial planning, retirement planning, income planning, tax planning, asset management, risk management and long-term care planning.
Michael graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. He then earned the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) from The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. This rigorous course study helped hone his knowledge of investments, insurance planning and estate planning.
Michael has passed the Series 65 securities exam and is licensed in life and health insurance in Washington, D.C.; Colorado; Delaware; Florida; Georgia; Maryland; Oklahoma; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Virginia; and West Virginia.
A native of Montgomery County, Michael grew up in Germantown, Maryland. He and his wife, Regina, live in Urbana, Maryland, with their children, Emily and Matthew, and their Shih Tzu, Cody. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys golfing, boating, cooking and watching Maryland Terrapins football and basketball.
